Discovery is a working session and a written report that identifies where AI can genuinely deliver innovation, efficiency and growth in your organisation — with wireframed flows, timelines, budgets and a working interface preview. It is £3,500 per project, and it is yours to keep whether or not you go further.
This is not a consultancy report.
A consultancy sells you a recommendation and leaves. Discovery produces the artefacts a builder would need — which is a materially different thing, and a materially more useful one.

Five stages. Discovery is the second, and the only one with a published price.
Intro call
We qualify honestly: is the problem document-heavy and multi-step, is the data sensitive, is there a named budget holder? Where a written brief exists we work from it; where one does not, we help you write it. If AI isn't the solution, we'll tell you upfront and help you find the one that is.
Discovery workshop
A digital working session where outstanding questions are asked and answered, and you meet the team members who would support implementation. Followed by the written report and the eleven deliverables above.
£3,500 per projectStatement of work and costs
The Discovery report converts into a fixed scope and price — what is in, what is out, milestones, acceptance criteria, and where our hard limits apply. The Discovery fee is deducted from the build fee if you proceed.
Build
Deployed into your own infrastructure with a named engineer. Evaluation harness and monitoring from day one, not retrofitted. Source transferred on completion.
Managed AI retainer
Monitoring, drift detection, retraining, cost control, human review queues and incident response. Optional — you own the system either way.

Why is Discovery paid?

Because free scoping is worth what it costs. The fee buys genuine research time — into your sector, your processes and your actual documents — and it is set so the report has standalone value even if you never proceed. It also means we can afford to tell you the honest answer, including that a project is not worth doing.
What if we don't proceed?

You keep everything: the scope, the research, the automation report, the wireframes, the timelines, the budgets and the interface preview. You could hand the pack to another builder and they could work from it. That is the test we hold it to.
Is the fee deducted if we build with you?

Yes. The £3,500 is deducted from the build fee on the resulting statement of work.
How long does Discovery take?

Typically two to three weeks from the workshop to the delivered report, depending on how much source material there is to examine and how many of your people we need time with.
What do you need from us?

A written brief if you have one — and help writing one if you do not. Access to the people who actually do the work, and to representative examples of the documents or processes in question. Real inputs, not idealised ones.
